For the first time in my life, I went to a shooting range. I was a bit hesitant about going at first, but Jay kept telling me I would like it and since my 14 year-old was going I thought I better go too.
It was a lot of fun. And I learned a lot about guns. It was a family affair – Me, Jay, Heather, Todd, Tessa and Dale. I shot a 22, a 38 and a 357 pistol. My fave was the 357 by far. And just to brag on myself a little, I did pretty darn good for my first go around with a pistol. One round (six bullets) I went six for six in hitting the target. I also hit the bowling pin somewhat far away and also had two shots right in the middle of the bullseye. Don’t mess with me.
Here are some pics from today:
It wasn’t anything like I expected; it was much better and I had fun. I am ready to go again.

Can I claim being your inspiration? I mean, I did go on and on about how fun shooting is. Guessing it’s fun at the range but SO much better in the country when you can blow things up!
Okay – you can get the credit! Maybe we can go together next time.
Fun stuff that can maybe save your life one day. (Great pictures….try leaning forward, instead of back…lean towards what you are shooting at….trust me.
I’m wearing body armor as I comment on your page. I didn’t want to get hit by bullets. Now don’t get me wrong, I know my C can kick some ass when she wants but I was a little worried about Heather. No offense Heather. But it is your first go… just using caution. Can I take this thing off now, it’s really hot. Oh, My people are telling me I have to go to another. Roger that boss. BYE C! GOOD JOB.
