Ever wake up with a full appreciation for your home?  I did this morning.

Traveling to other parts of the world really makes me appreciate my home and my freedoms.

Today, when I look out the windows and see the leaves covering every bit of property we own, I don’t see all the work I have yet to do; I see all the beautiful colors.

Today, when I brushed my teeth, I didn’t see the sink that needs cleaning; I saw fresh water that I take for granted every single day.

Today, when I thought about the errands I need to run, I didn’t feel overwhelmed; I felt free, like a bird, who can go wherever I want to go.

Today, when I think about what to make for dinner, it no longer seems like a task; I am thankful to be able to go to a store with endless choices of food selections.

I LOVE days like this, when I am in full appreciation of my surroundings.
